 I am a member of the NZ Register of Acupuncturists. I have experience in, and thoroughly enjoy, supporting women in fertility healthcare, whether natural or by assisted reproductive technologies. During pregnancy I can help with problems that may arise such as nausea, back pain, anxiety, breech/posterior positions and preparing the mother for birth. Following from this I like to assist in post-natal health. I regularly do talks at ante-natal groups on how acupuncture and acupressure can assist at this time. My holistic approach looks at every woman individually, aiming to address all her needs. I also treat male fertility, and am happy to teach a woman’s support people acupressure points helpful during labour. Prior to my studies I lived in Asia for 3 years where I informally followed my interest in Traditional Chinese medicine and Asian philosophy. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
